UL Green Campus Committee host RCSI visit

Today UL’s Green Campus Committee hosted a four-strong delegation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). The RCSI are embarking on the Green Campus journey and visited UL help inform their approach.

DSC_0022Chris Fogarty, UL Energy Manager gave the RCSI delegation a tour of the sustainability features at UL as well as advising them on how to make Green Campus work in practice. Adam DeEyto (far right) was on hand to give an insight into the UL Apiary.




Colin Fitzpatrick, Co-Chair of the UL Environmental Committee was on hand to go through the workings of the UL Community Roof Garden.

Community Roof Garden sessions take place each Thursday from 1-2pm and so the RCSI delegation were able to observe the Roof Garden in full operation.
