Wednesday last (20th April) saw the return of three hives to UL’s apiary. Their force majeure flight from UL was as a result of flooding which posed a threat to their well being.
Today will see the bees transferred to three new hives.
After the drive to UL the bees were in full fanning mode to cool the hive.
All’s well as the bees begin to get their bearings.
And there off.. The bees get down to foraging straight away.
