UL shortlisted for prestigious Green Gown award

UL hopes to add to its growing list of Smarter Travel related accolades later this year following its nomination in the Best Newcomer category of the Green Gown Awards run by the Environmental Association of Universities and Colleges (EAUC) .

The modal shift arising from UL’s staff and students adopting more sustainable forms of transport to and from campus, and, the success of UL’s Smarter Travel Coordinators in achieving this has been recognised by UL being named Smarter Travel Campus of the Year 2015, Cycling Campus of the Year 2015, Students Union of the Year 2015, Sustainable Champions of the Year 2015 and RSA’s Leading Lights in Road Safety 2014 and 2015.

The winners of the Best Newcomer in the Green Gown Awards will be revealed at an awards ceremony to be held in The Athena, Leicester on November 10th 2016.
