John Gormley to speak at UL

John Gormley former Green Party Leader and Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government will give a talk entitled ‘Climate change: a communication failure‘ at 6PM, Monday 14th November 2016 in KBG-015.

John will also talk to students about a recent film project on Tuesday, 15 November 10am in SG-016.

About John Gormely: John Gormley is a former Green Party leader and Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. He was first elected to Dublin City council in 1991 and served as Lord Mayor of Dublin from 1994 to 1995. Since leaving representative politics in 2011 he has completed an MSc in film making and has produced and directed a number of environmental documentaries. He also teaches political communication in DCU.
